About Us

Welcome to The King's eHighway! For most of you this may be the first time you have heard anything about the Highway, so allow us a few minutes to share our vision for this e-magazine! It’s been more than a few years since The King's Highway was published and gave our district a forum to share information, resources and inspirational stories. Now we have an opportunity to revive electronically this much need medium. For those of you who like purpose statements, here is ours: "The King's eHighway exists to stimulate, inform, and encourage the reader. It is our hope that the information conveyed will foster growth and understanding."

Have you ever wanted to be published? Well, this may be your chance to get started! Do you have a resource you would like to share? We may be calling upon you to contribute. Did you have a special experience at your church that just begs to be shared? Then we need you to share it. Have you ever wondered why things are going so well in a certain church? Well we’re looking for the pastoral and lay perspective. Have you ever wondered about the Wesleyan view on a certain hot topic or the District response to a hot issue? We’ll find one of our own pastors, teachers, missionaries or lay persons to share and inform us here at The King's eHighway!

The King’s eHighway will also be the place where you get the rest of the story! Have you ever really wondered how a little country church can really draw 250 people out on a cold Friday night in January or how does a church grow by 100 plus people in one year? We’ll ask those questions here!!!

Part of the vision for the King’s eHighway is to enable our district pool of talent to bring us articles from serious doctrinal and theological statements to topics of interest to just humorist columns! We’ll have it all, so don’t be surprised if you get a call or e-mail to enlist your help. We also want to encourage you to submit articles, ideas or issues you would like addressed!

Join us each month as we hope to evolve with your help with writings and input into a medium that truly serves us, the Greatest District in the Wesleyan Church. God Bless, and we hope to see you soon… in print!
