What's Happening At…
Pathway Wesleyan Church, Bangor, Maine
“Seven midweek "Growth Rings" (a.k.a. Small
Groups) have been recently established to promote deeper spiritual growth and
Christian community. An increased emphasis on servanthood evangelism projects
(e.g. fall leaf raking) has also been implemented. Several community building
events (similar to our recent overnight camp-out) are also planned enabling
visitors to "check us out" in a non-threatening way. Morale seems high!”
Senior Pastor: Mike Tapper
Note From the Editors: Thanks Mike, it is
so exciting to hear your enthusiasm and passion for Pathway and the city, it is
clearly being felt by involved! Keep up the good work and we hope to hear from
you again soon!
Central Nova Wesleyan Church, Truro, Nova
Scotia
“Our Sunday school hour for everyone starts at
9:45 a.m. and our regularly scheduled Kids Church & Praise and worship hour is
at 11 am. Starting in September during our 6pm service time, we have begun a
weekly book study that will take us into next year (starting at Genesis and
ending up at the book of Revelation). Our midweeks are filled with a variety of
Bible studies, prayer times, visitation, home fellowship groups, youth group and
a kids' club. Highlights so far this year are the ten baptism and two
conversions, experience during the month of September. In addition, on Sept 14th
we had our annual Country Sunday and church BBQ with 157 in our morning worship
hour (LYA 115). Looking Forward to a great year.”

Island Wesleyan Church, Hampton, Prince
Edward Island
“This month we've concluded our capital
campaign, and we have raised the commitments needed to completely renovate our
basement. This includes a new kitchen, renovated bathrooms, a new youth room,
and an expanded fellowship facility. The parking lot is being expanded, chairs
are replacing our pews, and various other building improvements are taking
place. These promise to be excellent improvements for continued development of
our various children, youth, and adult ministries.”
Senior Pastor: Dwight Ingersoll
Note From the Editors: Thank you very much Dwight for sharing what is going on!
This sounds like things are going very well, in fact we are hearing great things
about the work in Hampton from many of your lay people. Please keep us informed,
keep up the good work and we hope to hear from you again soon, too!
