Global Challenge: What Is It? |

Moore serves as our District Director of "Global Partners - Wesleyan World
Missions in Ministry." (Yes, that's the new nickname being used by the
denomination.) The Department is currently emphasizing what is known as Global
Challenge and our district will be participating in it. We asked Peter to
describe what Global Challenge is. This is his response...Three words: The Great Commission. Global Challenge is our denominational rally cry to once again raise the standard of Christ’s vision for His Church. You will be reminded of the tentative date you’ve already set for your own Global Challenge Sunday this coming January. The good news is that everything you need to know about this is on the Global Challenge website: www.TheGlobalChallenge.org. You can download the intro video to show as a promo for the service to your board and your congregation. The most practical aspects of this site include the “How?” and the “Next Steps” icons. These give you a very straightforward overview and a simple seven-step process to take from start to finish through the Global Challenge experience. The sermon resources are one of the key resources to assist you in casting this vision and leading your people to respond through the card provided. As the results pour in from across our continent over the next year it will be a great time of celebration and harvest for the cause of the Great Commission through Wesleyan World Missions!
